DONNÉ RESTOM

Donné Restom is a South African born, multidisciplinary artist whose dynamic career has spanned two decades. Known as "that creative powerhouse," she has built a reputation for her ability to push creative boundaries. Donné lived and worked in the USA for three years under the moniker Kitt Clement, where she toured internationally with renowned LA-based circus, Lucent Dossier Experience. Since returning to Australia to have her son, she wrote and performed award-nominated show Everyone in My Family is Dead or About to Be, is the founder of sell-out storytelling event, Kink in the Tale, and her evocative new album Anatomy of Heart will be released 10 Sept 2026.

Donné’s voice carries the lineage of Etta James and classic R&B singers — big, raw, and earned through living.

"She’s the type that unapologetically does whatever the hell she wants to do. Donné, however, has the skill to back up her eccentricity." — Westham Roll, UK

The acclaimed recording artist, whose music blurs the lines between jazz, blues, and pop, has three albums, two EPs, and songwriting credits across numerous Australian releases.

On stage, Donné is a commanding presence.

“More than just a talented singer - the Australian vocalist paints in broad, impressionistic colours that recall the golden era of jazz.” — Jake Stone

Whether performing in a duo or backed by a big band, Donné leaves an indelible mark, blending timeless blues and R&B roots with modern influences.

Donné’s latest project, Anatomy of Heart, explores love in all its complexity: heartbreak, liberation, surrender, and the slow work of knowing yourself. Created with long-time collaborator, Aaron Flower, the album features lush Retro Soul arrangements and poignant storytelling.

“You seldom hear words married so perfectly to music. Great Circle spins on its enthralling narrative arc and its spartan-to-sumptuous music simultaneously.” — John Shand
